Joshua Grumet, a native New Yorker, graduated Magna Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa from Hunter College. He has been in several off-Broadway, off-off Broadway and way-way, far-far, off-off Broadway productions as well as even more obscure regional theatre. He studied acting for many years with Uta Hagen, and has written numerous plays, and short stories that have gone largely unpublished. His children resent him for having forced them to participate in his films and his wife is reluctant to produce any more movies. He is, however, a fine carpenter, chef, and Little League coach and last year received the Joseph Vasquez award at City College for Outstanding Creative Endeavor.
Our lives are measured by the quality of our love when we are alive, in the art we leave when we are gone, and by the number of takes we put everyone through in between.
